I am hungry ALL OF THE TIME.

I think it is hormonal though because when I eat, I am still not satisfied.

Honestly it kind of feels like the story of Christ with the woman at the well.
Remember that one?

I am doing another Project 52 and it has been a bit harder to start than the others I have done.
I think it is because things are so...not where I expected them to be as I leave my 20's at the end of this project.
It has caused me to think about this situation between the Savior and the woman a lot.
Things aren't always what we imagine.
Sometimes, like I am right now, we hunger or thirst without feeling relief.
He offers us that relief and so much more.
I am trying to remember and remind myself of that more.

The last two weeks have been lots of...fun.
No, really.
I am trying not to be too sarcastic.

I am having a hard time working on my thesis at the moment but that is going to change this week.
It is!
Because I said so and I am a professional!
I can do this!
It isn't writer's block, it is Ph.D. student motivation block.
Not to worry though, I will conquer it.

While I have been not writing I have been attending inductions, classes (yep, I have one this semester), Young Women's responsibilities and walking about.

Pictures from my morning walks.
I know I post so many of these but I really love taking pictures here.
It is SO BEAUTIFUL!!!
The leaves are changing, the sky is FABULOUS, and it is my favorite time of the year.

Funny story about mutual by the way.
We had a woman come do a makeup tutorial for the girls but none of them wanted to volunteer to be the makeup model.
Ergo, I ended up doing it...and looking like this:

I was sad that I ate all of those people.

The best part was that I had to wear it home, which meant I looked like this as I walked down the streets of Durham at 10pm.

Oh, it gets better.

St. John's and St. Chad's (I think?) had their fresher's formal that night.
So the Bailey was full of drunk freshman and I looked like that.
On top of that, jerks are running around the area in clown costumes with knives trying to scare people.
AND I LOOKED LIKE THAT!!!

Thankfully I had my hood, I pretended to wipe my nose to keep my face covered for the most part, and despite some double-takes, I got home without incident.

It was pretty funny overall.
Working in Young Women's...totally an adventure.

Finally, last week, I attended the Full-Moon Market in Durham for some fire-oven pizza and music.

The good times continue!
