I am trying so hard to update this thing regularly.
The only thing I am regular about is missing the updates.
Oh well.
This post is dedicated to all the random things that have happened since I returned from my summer field work in July.
Mainly a post of random photos and stories I have removed from my phone.
So, here goes.
JULY
So...sometimes I don't replace things for A LONG time.
Like clothes (not too bad),
shoes (meh),
makeup...
yeah, still using a blush and other things from high school...a decade ago.
That is wrong.
It also explains why every time I wore makeup my face broke out.
So I replaced it and it was a fun thing to do.
So I documented it with pictures because I am such a major dork.
Also, before and afters are kind of fun.
AUGUST
I cut my own hair but I talked about that here.
Outside of that I did my work,
hung out in my hammock (best purchase of all time),
did a lot of walking around Durham,
got acquainted with various berries in an effort to be more healthy,
learned some Snapchat tricks from Pond,
and found a brand of flour whose name is what little Tyler used to call me when he was a wee lad.
There was a moment of homesickness there.
SEPTEMBER
More walking.
More eating.
By the way, that is the best pizza of all time.
Be jealous, very jealous.
I also got a fitbit which was the best choice I have made in a while.
I finished the month going to Spain (see here) and going out for hot chocolate with my visiting teachers who gave me this marvelous bath basket.
On September 30th I walked about Durham and realized that 1 year ago that day I left the good old U.S. of A.
OCTOBER
1 year in Durham.
That blows my mind.
I really can't process it.
Starting this new semester I am walking/running in the mornings.
It gives a good opportunity for pictures.
This last Monday was awesome because it was particularly foggy.
This last weekend was also General Conference and I was blessed to watch it live.
More walking pictures.
Oh Durham, you are so lovely.
So, there are the random pictures for the last bit.
If I start to post regularly, these posts will get smaller.
I promise.
