This evening I realized that I could count the number of people I talked to today on one hand.
I mean really talked to.
There are only 5 fingers on your hand.
In case you were wondering.
And I didn't even use them all.
So what did I do today that required so little human interaction?
I worked for about 5 hours in the lab,
I came home, read, and drew,
I did some ballet,
I made some dinner,
I wrote on my blog,
and now I'm going to bed.
I live an exciting life at the moment folks.
No worries...it will be.
Just wait until the end of the month.
Here is what we have on the docket:
- August 16th--back in the field...hopefully. We have been postponed for a month now.
- August 18th--my little sister heads off to university.
- August 19th--my little brother returns from Peru. I won't actually see him until the 20th if I'm in the field but, it has been two years, twenty-four hours isn't going to kill me.
- August 22nd--the 'just returned' little brother heads down to university to join the little sister.
- August 23rd--those 2 yeahoos start school and I head back into the field.
- August 30th--I finally start my first semester of grad school and boredom and lack of things to do will certainly desist. I will have more than I can handle...hopefully. I like to be very busy.
I can handle a few more days of invisibility and silence right?
I mean it won't be this way forever.
It won't even be this way for a month.
Yeah, I think I can do this.
